We are pleased to announce that the Peace Projects jury has finished evaluating all 47 shortlisted proposals. Because of the high quality of all submissions, the decision was not easy. In the end, the jury decided on 17 finalists.
The finalists' interviews will be held in Istanbul on May 29, 2014. They will then attend the Award Ceremony during the Istanbul Summit's opening program on May 31, 2014. At that time, the top ten projects will be announced, each of which will receive a grant of up to $50,000. The first installments will be given to each project's representative after the Award Ceremony.
We congratulate all 47 shortlisted project owners and hope to see them submit their projects to a future Peace Projects program.
Below is the list of finalists:
Please note that the list is sorted by the project IDs rather than the scores.
Once again, we offer our congratulations to all finalists, and we thank everyone who participated in our inaugural grant program.
